Paragraphs

1-      I have been really excited since our cycling lesson. Yesterday I went to the park and I rode on my bike two hours around the lake. I finished exhausted so then, I spent the rest of the day watching the cycling on television. Talking about bikes, have you got yours mended yet? I would like you come with me next Sunday, it is a fantastic experience and also it will help us to be trained for our next cycling lessons.

   2-  Hi Lucy, how are you?

     I am writing to tell you that yesterday I received an email from the travel agency with some prices and suggestions about interesting cities to visit once in Europe, unluckily it is really expensive but it will be an extraordinary experience. I prefer not to invite Darlene and Jackie come with us, Dalene is as miserable as ever, and Jackie never comes to visit us. Anyway, I am sure you don’t want to hear about my problems, so let’s get back to those holidays plans. We have to decide the cities to visit as soon as possible because february is coming soon! Can we go to Paris first?

       Metacognitive Analysis: 

      

       When I started to solve the task I thought it would be very simple but I was wrong. Putting those sentences in context was a tricky and complicated job. I had to read several times each of the paragraphs up to discover the gender and style hidden in the sentences. After that, I deliberated between different contexts to finally choose the appropriate one.
